I started losing my hair in my mid 20s and gradually over the years it accelerated to the point where I decided it was time to start shaving my head. Fast forward a few years to where I meet trichologist Dean Allister and he suggests that my hair can be saved using FUE hair transplantation. Now I will admit I had resigned myself to being bald and hadn’t really looked into any of the treatments available but thought- why not? 

After going in for a consult with Dean he was very confident that High Definition Aestetic Clinic could give me a full head of hair once more! Full of excitement, a month prior to my transplant, went for a PRP session and was blown away by the increase in hair growth just a month after! Although my hair loss was advanced I definitely saw a major increase, one that would’ve been even more noticble had I used PRP treatment earlier on in my hairloss! At last the day of my transplant arrived and I won’t lie I was pretty nervous, but having followed all the protocols, all that was left to do was let the doctors do their thing. The transplant itself was far less scary than I had anticipated, for me the only painful part was the numbing injections besides that the surgery felt like it breezed by! The downtime was minimal and after a few days the swelling(minor) was gone and I could now not wait to have my hair growth start in full! I’m currently 2 months into my journey and can already see solid results from my procedure! A massive thank you to Dean and his wonderful team for giving me my full confidence back! Each month is exciting in that you get to see the progress you’re making.
