Consultations usually last anywhere from 30– 45 minutes. It’s important to know that this cost does not include blood work or biopsies that may need to be done in order to diagnose causes or underlying conditions.

How do we determine which treatment you need?

During your consultation with our Trichologist, you will be assessed and diagnosed to determine the cause of your hair loss. This diagnosis may be a simple and easy process; however, you need to be prepared for a scan of your scalp and possible blood tests to determine underlying health issues that could be causing or contributing to your hair loss.

Once a diagnosis is made, a treatment plan is offered based on whether or not the patient is suitable candidate to have a surgical procedure or not. Some patients prefer not to have surgical intervention however, in these cases, it is important to know that non-surgical procedures take longer to help the hair grow. Semi-surgical and surgical procedures have a much quicker and longer-lasting hair growth result.

One more consideration
